Does shampooing hair daily cause dry hair?

Not necessarily. What could cause dry hair with daily shampooing would be the shampoo being used. If it is necessary to wash hair daily, choosing a shampoo made for the specific hair type becomes more important.

Does trimming hair regularly make it grow faster?

Trimming hair regularly does not make it grow faster, that is determined by our genes, and, the rate of growth can be affected by diet. Rate of hair growth varies from person to person, some people have hair that grows faster than others. Hair is composed of mainly protein, so a diet rich in protein can influence faster hair growth.

Is it true dandruff is caused by washing the hair too little?

That is not true. Hair care choices may exacerbate or contribute to the condition we call dandruff, but the cause of dandruff is considered the result of a yeast-like fungus called malassezia that lives harmlessly on the scalp of most adults, but in some cases grows out of control.
