Will You Marry My Daddy?
The idea that I have is like this. I am going to take 5 pictures of myself and our 3 year old daughter. We will be in different poses and she will be holding up signs that say “MOMMY”, “WILL”, “YOU”, “MARRY”, “DADDY?” and the one that says daddy will be me in a suit, down on one knee with the ring in my hand. And this all will be in like a scrap book. Then I will pull out the ring and tell her that I knew from our first date that she was the one for me and that she would make me the happiest man in the world if she would be my wife.

Women Can Ask Too!
I decided to propose to my boyfriend not because I was tired of waiting for him to ask (we’d only known each other 8 months at this time), but I wanted to give him the surprise of his lifetime and really prove to him how I felt. I had a book of sexy coupons he’d given me at Christmas and at the back there were a few blank ones. They said “I will…” and then I filled in “make you the happiest women on Earth.”
In early January we went up a mountain and tried snowboarding for the first time together. After discussing with my parents what I planned to do (I didn’t want my dad missing out on getting asked for his “approval”) I decided to go for it. With the coupon in my pocket, I told my boyfriend I wanted to go for a walk in the snow.
I told him to turn around and said I wanted to cash in a coupon. I handed it to him with his back to me and got down on one knee. When he turned around I proposed.
Trust me… it works! He said yes, cried a little, and we’re now in the process of planning our wedding. Don’t be afraid to go against what’s traditional!

Yard Cards
This idea came to me when I was helping a guy friend of mine think of something special to do for his girlfriend that he loved very much. I told him there is a place called Flamingo Surprise. They specialize in large yard signs, and they come out and place, for instance, hearts all over your front yard and a large sign with your choice of saying in the yard. They do it between 12am and 5:30am in the morning while normal people are sleep. I told him to call them and get this done then dress in his best outfit with the ring and dozen roses. I also told him to stand in the yard amongst the yard decor and call her from his cell phone to tell her to look out the window. There he would be standing for her to see first thing in the morning next to a sign asking her to marry him!

Young & In Love
Well, I’m in high school and I’m always looking for ideas to make the girl I love feel special. After we broke up, we waited a while before decided we missed each other. So on our “should be” 7 month anniversary, she was doing make-up for a play I was acting in (it was a dress rehearsal). I asked a cast member to have her come out on stage, which when she did, all she saw was me sitting with only the house lights on. She sat down and we talked a bit, small talk, before I asked her if she still felt the same way about me. She said yes, so with that I looked into her eyes, scratched my chin (my signal) and my theatre director brought the lights up, till the stage was flooded with light, and then brought a blue spotlight on me and her. He played our song, and I grabbed a fake rose from my secret spot out of her view. I presented the rose and told her I would love her until it died. I asked her to be mine, and she agreed. We kissed, and it was beautiful. During all of this, the rest of the cast hid in the seats and clapped at our romance. Needless to say the girl was ecstatic.

Your Own Cinderella Story
Okay men, ready to make your woman feel like a princess? Take a video camera and enlist some friends and/or family members for help (make sure they keep it secret). Get a pretty pair of shoes (in her size!), a tiara (crown) and the story book of Cinderella! You will also need a video camera! Have a friend tape you being “Prince Charming” taking one of the shoes around to your friend/coworker/neighbor/etc.. trying to find your princess! They pretend like it won’t fit and as you continue on your journey. When you leave their home they should say on tape, “Come back, I’m the one for you!” etc. So it is fun loving. When finished tell your woman you have a surprise for her! Pop the tape in and after some laughs and at the end of the tape bring out the shoes! Put the shoe on her and tell her that she is the one! Then bring her out flower(s), the crown and the storybook (or scrapbook you have made of you two in Cinderella theme pages). You will definitely steal her heart! Then maybe you should take her out to dinner, have dinner already made or maybe even purpose?!?!
