A Walk To Remember
I like to run, and my then girlfriend and I take walks from time to time. One of those times, she came to visit me at my folk’s house. We went to a local park with some nice hiking trails that go up to the highest point in the county. We decided we would walk up to the top. I was so excited that I practically pushed her up the hill. When we got up to the top, we started to look around. While she’s a bit wide-eyed and looking around, I got down on one knee and got her to sit on my other knee. After that, it’s mostly a blur, but I know I got “Will you Marry me?” out and heard a yes. We’ll be getting married in 135 days and can’t wait!

A day to remember
If you want to spend a day with your mate that she will remember forever and will always treasure. Then this is for you. It’s also a wonderful way to propose. It’s none to expensive either. Simply obtain a camera, and some transportation, then take that special him or her, to the various clothing shops in town that specialize in wedding clothes. Inform that shopkeepers that you are browsing, so you’ll be picking out stuff and trying it on, then snapping pictures with the camera. There are several appealing things about this. It’s not expensive, it’s original, they’ll feel close to you, they’ll know that you truly love them, and you are going to have some wonderful pictures. This is also a superb way to get your mate thinking about being together with you forever. Have fun!

Above The World
My Boyfriend just proposed to me on Saturday, February 9 2002. He took me in a four-seated plane (which I thought was free because he did some work for them-landscaping) The airport was in Guelph Ontario where we took off and my boyfriend works in Guelph so we thought we would fly over his work to get an aerial picture for his boss who is a close friend to us also. When I went to take the picture the pilot who was involved in this suddenly yelled, “What the (bleep) is that?” Startled, I looked to where the pilot was pointing to see a 2 acre field with the words, “Dana Will You Marry Me?” in fluorescent orange paint. When I turned back to look at him he had the ring in his hand and a single wrapped long stem red rose. I said yes! When we got back to the airport the lady at the desk handed me a huge box of long stemmed red roses to finish off my dozen. It was like a fairy tale come true!

Adorable Proposal
I think the perfect perfect way to purpose to a woman would be to go to a pet store, find the cutest, most adorable little puppy in the whole store. Purchase this puppy and make sure you have the diamond ring as well. You take the ring, and slip it on a collar. Then put the collar around the puppy’s neck. Wrap it up in a little box with a bow. Find some place romantic to go to, and give her the gift. Just imagine the astonishment when she opens the box to find a little puppy with a diamond ring on the collar. I doubt you would even have to say the words.

Advertising Your Love
On Valentine’s Day, I had a class early in the morning in this building on campus. As I walked toward the building I noticed that there were flyers posted everywhere. I just thought someone was really trying to advertise something. When I got closer, I realized that they all said, “Jama, I love you…will you be mine? Love, Brian.” They were everywhere, different ones…and everyone was in awe.

Airplane Proposal
This is how a friend of mine proposed: He is of European descent and often visits “home” to fly his planes in the mountains of Austria. He always wanted to take his girlfriend, but it never worked out because of time and money. Eventually, he was able to secretly clear her schedule and pay for her plane ticket to go with him. She assumed it was simply a very lucky romantic getaway. He had worked it out so that one of the hills he flew her over had “I love you. Will you marry me?” written out with huge white sheets of cloth. When they approached it, he told her to look out to the right to see the most beautiful scenery. She was so surprised! Not only did she get a free, romantic trip to Europe with him, she also got a very romantic and unique proposal.

An incredibly memorable evening
I was having a bad day at work, when the phone rang and my boyfriend said to be ready at 8. He picked me up and asked if I wanted a quiet or a fun night! I choose to have a fun night, the mood I was in was not good! So we went to a Sports Bar with a huge fireplace! We order one Hamburger and fries to share! When I placed my hand on the hamburger to cut it in half, he placed his hand on mine and said “We are whole, with two separate souls!” I didn’t really understand, but after we ate. The waitress came up to the table and handed me a white rose with a note attached to it, saying “The night is not yet over”. We went to Striking lanes and raced on the motorcycles, just being close to him, was enough for me! As we played pinball, each time I beat him, I received another white rose with the first saying “I don’t believe this”, the second saying “You have all the moves” and the third “You are one lovely lady”. My eyes watered and I wanted to leave! As he held the door open and I got in, he reached over to put my seatbelt on and kissed me very tenderly! As we left the parking lot, I thought we were going home and he said “One more stop to complete the night!” As we pulled into a parking lot, there was a neon sign flashing “Memories” and below it “I LOVE YOU”! They played our song every half hour! Each time we danced there was a red rose at our table and each one had a little saying on it! After 6 red roses and the notes put together, they spelled out “Will you be mine forever”. We have been married for 3 years and our love grows stronger each day! I will never forget that night!

Anniversary Proposal
My boyfriend and I had been together 4 years. On the day of our anniversary he sent me a yellow rose (my favorite color); he sent me a rose a day (at my work) over the next 3 days, 4 in total. On the last day he included a card with the rose that said “4 beautiful roses for 4 beautiful years.” On my way home from work that night, he sent me a text message telling me to be ready to go out at 6.15 p.m. He picked me up and took me to a beautiful restaurant where there was a red rose waiting for me. After dinner he took me outside to look at the view, he got down on one knee and said: “4 yellow roses for the past 4 years, and 1 red rose for the rest of our lives, will you marry me?” It was the most romantic and beautiful thing he could have ever said. Of course I said yes.

Application For Love
My fiancee and I have been on a long distance relationship for four years. After I graduated from College, he popped the question and we got engaged last November. I was real happy but all I said was “yes” and wanted to show him how much I loved to be his forever somehow… So I wrote a cover letter and resume to apply for the position to be his wife and sent him for Valentine’s. I explain why I would like to apply for the position and how I am qualified for it in a cover letter. Then my resume was filled with history of events and time we spent together over the past fours years. Under skills, list of special things I do make him happy in bed etc. They look so serious for a second but what’s written are hilarious and special for us. My fiancee loved it and enjoyed it so much. If you would like to let your love know how much you want to be with him too, this is a thought.

At The Old Ball Game
I could only wish this would happen to me… but, a dear friend of mine had arranged for all of his friends go to a minor league baseball stadium where he and his girlfriend attended every home game. Before the game, he had arranged it to where they would call out her seat number to throw out the first pitch. He excused himself to the restroom as she was on her way out to the dugout. He secretly went to the locker room, put on a uniform and the catcher’s gear. After she threw the first pitch, he shook his hand and said “no good” then threw it back to her. She threw out a second pitch and again he shook his hand and said “no good”. When she through the third pitch, he called a meeting with the pitcher. He ran out to her, took off his catchers mask, dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. The entire crowd cheered! Of course, she said yes. It was the most beautiful and romantic thing I have ever witnessed!!

Backyard Proposal
My fiancé, Brian proposed to me in the most romantic way. He and I had been dating 2 years when it all changed one night. I was working in my bedroom on a paper for college when I heard music playing. I went into the hallway and noticed lily petals all over the floor in a line. I followed them all the way downstairs and out to my backyard. In my backyard the song that had started playing was my favorite song, which is “I’ll Never Break Your Heart” by the Backstreet Boys. Brian was standing there with a bouquet of lilies in his hand and he sang to me that song. The whole yard was decorated with flowers and candles. I started crying and afterwards he recited this very romantic speech and got down on one knee and said “Adrienne, I love you, will you marry me?” I of course said yes and he slipped the ring on my finger. That was 3 months ago and our wedding day is next summer after we both graduate from college.

Balloons II
Okay, this is kind of corny and childish but I loved it and thought it was the perfect way to show someone like me who is a kid at heart how you feel. My now husband had my friends take me out. When I got back, our living room was filled with balloons…. tons of balloons! I was given a pin and told to pop them… I figured since it was not so unusual for him to do small things for me this was some sort of new game he had designed. But rather, as I popped certain balloons I got roses in some… in others, way at the back and bottom, placed so I would get them in order, I found little notes. The first: “Its been one year since you found my heart.”, second: “I hope that we shall never part.” and lastly I got a balloon he was holding with a note that read, “Will you be my wife?”, and the ring I dreamed of even as a kid!! How sweet is that?

Before I Leave Proposal
My boyfriend Ryan was about to be deployed to Iraq, so on one of his last nights home, we went out for a nice dinner. When we arrived home, he asked where my dog was and I told him the basement. I went downstairs to get my dog and saw the stairs lit up with candles on each step. As I walked down the stairs I saw numerous different arrangements of all of my favorite flowers placed over the entire room. The table was set with champagne, glasses and a picture of us. The best part was a soft teddy bear sitting on the sofa. I thought all of this was a good-bye present until he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. Even though he’s half way across the world right now, I have this great night and the beautiful ring to remind me of him!
