There are two different ways to make this drink, it is a matter of preference and which liqueurs you have in stock. Both versions end up tasting like an old fashioned Peppermint Patty filled with a soothing blend of peppermint and chocolate. This is a great to have during the holidays, it has that mint , which reminds you of Christmas. It’s just a great fun drink to have. To start with that drink, you are going to fill up your shaker with ice.
This can also be made as ashooter or warmed up for a Hot Peppermint Patty.

Ingredients:
- 1 oz white crème de cacao
- 1 oz white crème de menthe
- OR
- 1 oz peppermint schnapps
- 1 oz dark crème de cacao
- 2 oz cream
Preparation:
Version 1:
- Pour the crème de cacao and crème de menthe in an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
- Stir.
Version 2:
- Pour the peppermint schnapps, crème de cacao, and cream in an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
- Shake by placing a mixing tin over the glass and giving it one or two good shakes.
Shake and Serve the Peppermint Patty Cocktail
And then you are going to shake that up until it’s all cool. Then, it’s going to be served in a cordial glass. If you want to spice it up to serve, just throw in a candy cane.
