A Shower of Roses
One year on my birthday, my boyfriend rented a romantic hotel suite with a hot tub. He filled the tub with all my favorite things (bath beads, bath oils, bubble bath, milk, etc.). Next, he undressed me, picked me up and carried me into the bathroom where he laid me into the tub. Then he handed me a balloon and a pin. He told me to pop the balloon, and when I did, roses petals filled the air and surrounded me in the tub. I loved it.

A Single Rose Love Letter
Who says that flowers are only for girls? Guys love them too. I bought a beautiful rose for my boyfriend and plucked almost all of the petals off of it. Attached to each petal, I wrote one sentence on a small piece of paper (rolled up) telling him how much he means to me. I placed the petals face up so he couldn't see the messages. When he opened the box, he saw the left over plucked rose, a small note explaining what's behind each petal, and the petals underneath. I can honestly say that the receiver will cherish that gift forever. :o) My boyfriend did, and right after he confessed his love for me. Everybody likes to get flowers, even guys! So...tell your guy to come to your house and just come in. Then have rose petals and candles leading up to your bedroom. Be on your bed of satin sheets and rose petals in a romantic night gown of the same color as the rose petals. Ideas for Roses
Roses are always an enjoyment for a woman. A soothing bubble bath is also nice. Even better if you have a whirlpool tub! But, with or without that, after the roses are a few days old and start to droop, don't throw them away. Instead, separate the petals from the stem and spread them over the bubbles and join her in a bath. After the bath take more petals and spread them over the bed. What a wonderful night it makes!

Petals Dusted With Love
I've always thought that romantic gestures on a whim were more exciting. So one night, while my boyfriend was at a community meeting (I knew it would be at least 2 hours before his return), I let myself into his house. I cleaned his room from top to bottom. Before making his bed, I took petals from two red roses and spread them throughout his sheets, on top of his comforter, and across his pillows. I wrote a very romantic poem relating to the petals being my love and cut it to form the shape of a heart. In the poem I told him to put one petal in each pillowcase, one in his wallet, and many throughout his house and car so no matter where he was, my love was always with him. I then sprayed my perfume on the heart-shaped poem. He was so amazed that he cried in my arms before we made love under the petal-dusted sheets.

Shower of Petals
This may seem like a small thing, but I guarantee that girls will think it is the sweetest thing in the world. Take some flower petals and put them in the visor of the passenger seat in your car. As you are driving with your date, tell her she's got something in her teeth or something so that she'll have to look at herself in the mirror. As she opens the visor to look in the mirror, down comes a shower of flower petals. You can also attach a little note saying "I love you" or "Gotcha" or something else sweet and playful. I guarantee your girl will love it.

Surprise Roses
One nice idea is to have a dozen red roses sent to your favorite restaurant. Make reservations and have them put the flowers on the table waiting for you. She will love it and she will get a lot of admiration from the other people there. TRY IT!!!

Sweet Dreams
My girlfriend had gone to a concert with some friends. While she was gone I put one yellow rose on the table near the door, then put red roses throughout her house, and put the remaining 11 yellow roses on her pillow with a note saying "Sweet Dreams". She says it is the most romantic thing any guy has done for her.

The Forgetful Romantic
Okay I haven't tried this out yet, but I think it is a good idea. Go to your local florist and have them deliver 11 red roses in a vase to your love along with a poem. Give them a specific time to deliver it and make sure your love will be home at that time. Then, a half hour later, show up at their door with one red rose and a book of poetry, tell them "oops forgot one." A night of serious poetry reading and romance should follow.

The Meaning of Roses
When you do not get to see each other all the time, your time together is even more precious. For our 6 month anniversary I put 3 different colored roses on his car at work with a note saying what each colored rose meant. He was not sure that they were from me because we live so far away. I did not sign the note. Then when he came home from work I was waiting on his front door step with 6 more different colored roses and a card telling him the meaning of each colored rose and my love for him. He loved it and told all his guy friends (who all loved the idea too).

The Perfect Thing
I was really upset one morning about some family problems that were happening in my life. In the midst of my uncontrollable crying I had to look in my bag to find a piece of paper. In my bag was a silk rose that my boyfriend had taken from a vase when he had been over the night before. There were sweet little things written on every petal ("You are gorgeous," "I want you forever," "I love you," etc.). It was the perfect thing to find at that very moment.

The Special Rose
Invite your girlfriend over to your house, but before you do, buy 12 roses. Take one of the roses out of the dozen (put it away somewhere, maybe even just give it to your mother or sister). Now you only have 11 roses. You take the roses and put them in front of a mirror in your house and attach a card or a little note to the bouquet. On the card write something special, something like, "Hey babe I just want you to know that I love you so much, you mean the world to me. In case you haven't noticed, there are only 11 roses here. That is because I wanted to find a 12th most perfect rose, but no matter where I looked I could not find it. However, I need you to do something for me... look into the mirror for a minute. This was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. I had just started dating my current boyfriend and we were talking online. He told me that he loved me and I told him to show me. Trail Of Petals
My fiance works offshore (2 weeks in; 2 weeks out) so by the time he comes home we are missing each other terribly. The last time he came in I had bought two dozen roses and stripped all of the petals off them. I then put a note on the front door that told him that for every petal he came across, I would kiss him wherever he wanted. Well, I placed one right inside the front door, one on the table where he places his keys, and a few more around the house. Of course I led him in the right direction. I then led him to the bedroom and undressed him. I asked him to pull back the sheets and there were the rest of the rose petals, all over the bed. Needless to say, he was thrilled.
