As the story goes, the Jungle Bird was invented at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in 1978. It’s a favorite among mixologists and has started popping up more often in bars in recent years. The great thing about it? It contains only five ingredients: rum, Campari, lime juice, simple syrup and pineapple juice. Down one of these delicious drinks and you’ll feel transported to Southeast Asia!

- 1.5 oz Black Strap Rum
- .75 oz Campari
- .5 oz lime juice
- .5 oz simple syrup
- 1.5 oz pineapple juice
How to Make It
Shake with ice and strain over crushed ice into an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.
