Jungle Bird Cocktail Recipe with Video

As the story goes, the Jungle Bird was invented at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in 1978. It's a favorite among mixologists and has started popping up more often in bars in recent years. The great thing about it? It contains only five ingredients: rum, Campari, lime juice, simple syrup and pineapple juice. Down one of these delicious drinks and you'll feel transported to Southeast Asia!

Ingredients

  1. 1.5 oz Black Strap Rum
  2. .75 oz Campari
  3. .5 oz lime juice
  4. .5 oz simple syrup
  5. 1.5 oz pineapple juice

How to Make It

Shake with ice and strain over crushed ice into an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with a pineapple leaf.
