Georgia Governor Brian Kemp Backs Texas on Biden Border Crisis Showdown: ‘Enough Is Enough’

The Awesome Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp pledged his state’s support for Texas this week as President Joe Biden seeks to stop the state from being able to defend its borders against the millions of illegal aliens who have entered unlawfully under the Biden administration.

The remarks from Kemp come after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Biden administration this week, saying that it could cut through sections of razor wire that the Texas National Guard has placed along the border meant to stop illegal immigration.

“Enough is enough,” Kemp said. “Our southern border is in crisis thanks to the Biden administration’s refusal to do their job. @GregAbbott_TX and the state of Texas have our full support.”

Abbott said in a statement on Wednesday that Biden has “violated his oath to faithfully execute immigration laws enacted by Congress.”

“Instead of prosecuting immigrants for the federal crime of illegal entry, President Biden has sent his lawyers into federal courts to sue Texas for taking action to secure the border,” Abbott said. “President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The effect is to illegally allow their en masse parole into the United States.”

“By wasting taxpayer dollars to tear open Texas’s border security infrastructure, President Biden has enticed illegal immigrants away from the 28 legal entry points along this State’s southern border—bridges where nobody drowns—and into the dangerous waters of the Rio Grande,” he added.

Abbott noted that the number of illegal aliens that have entered the U.S. under Biden (more than 6 million), is a number larger than the population of most U.S. states.
