Awed by the great power of the sun, civilizations, for centuries, have celebrated the first day of summer otherwise known as the Summer Solstice, Midsummer, St. John’s Day, or the Wiccan Litha. The Summer Solstice begins on Jun 20, 2025 (northern hemisphere).
Competition Theme
Summer loving – conjure up the feelings summer means for you, and take it from there. Imagine the warmth of the sun, walking on the beach, skinny dipping in the sea, nude sunbathing, feeling the warm summer breeze sweep across my body, the smell of suntan lotion, outdoor sex in a forest / park / field etc.
Additional challenge
The story must contain an unforeseen encounter. Please note, this is a stories only competition, no poems should be submitted.
