Dragon’s Breath Recipe: Why Salty Vixen Likes It
Mesquite doesn’t just make for tasty barbecue. You can also use it to smoke your bourbon. This cocktail served in a brandy snifter hails from an Arizona BBQ restaurant called Renegade, and it’s really going to redefine what you imagine when the idea of a drink and a smoke comes up.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1 barspoon St. Germain
- 1 barspoon Dry Curaçao
- 1 barspoon Simple syrup
- Mesquite wood chips (you can purchase this on Amazon here- this is made for cocktails)
How to Make It
Smoke a chilled brandy snifter by lighting the mesquite on fire and turning the snifter over it. Stir the other ingredients with ice until well chilled. Strain the mixture into the smoked glass and serve.
