Why We Like It
Made with rye whiskey and Aperol (a fruity apéritif ..mmmm) he Hardball is topped off with a cold wheat beer. While it’s easy on the eyes and the palate, I call this drink the Hardball because after one or two, you’ll definitely be buzzed. Other than the simple syrup, all the ingredients are boozy.
How to Make It
Add the rye whiskey, Aperol and simple syrup to a collins or highball glass. Stir well, add a handful of ice, and top off with the beer. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounces rye whiskey
- 1 ounce Aperol
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 3 to 4 ounces cold wheat beer
- Lemon wheel for garnish
