When Your Characters Orgasm

She wrapped her legs around his waist. "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssss!"

We have all seen it, some of us, have even used it.  (Taking a moment to bow head in shame)  But wouldn't it be better if I had said something like:

Wrapping her legs lightly around his waist, she pulled him deeper inside of her aching pussy.  "Yes," she moaned, "harder baby, please."  Groaning he sought to please her, meeting her every demand.

More erotica? Yes.

More descriptive? Yes

Better written? Hell yes (In my opinion at least)

I made the same decisions once upon a time, to use the guttural verbal sounds instead of TELLING the reader what was happening, since when I was first learning to write erotica, that was how 75% of the erotica I read was written. I learned by the example set for me by others.  But now we are starting to see a trend of truly talented writers emerging.  (Yes some were there before I am just now finding them)

From there example we are learning to use not just moan , groan, gasp, exclaim, said, and whisper ... but also the other thousands of words to describe orgasms, the sounds made during orgasm, and the physical act of love itself.

Here are just a few that another erotica author was kind enough to put together for beginners and those that wish to broaden their sexual terminology text base.
