One-Minute Happy Hour: Churchill’s Breakfast

How to Make It

Toast a cinnamon stick on an open flame until it smokes, and place it under an overturned, chilled coupe, filling it with smoke. Shake other ingredients with ice until well chilled and strain into the coupe. Drop the cinnamon stick in for garnish.

Why We Like It

Far be it from us to ride the fence when a big political issue is raging. We’re throwing our support in with the remain camp, and having a fine Churchill-inspired cocktail while doing it. For those of us who value European stability, beautifully balanced flavors and a smoky finish, this is the perfect quaff.
