Spiked Nutella Hot Chocolate Recipe

 

How to make it:

Add the milk and Nutella to a saucepan over medium heat and whisk until the Nutella has melted and is fully incorporated. Reduce the heat to a simmer, then add the hazelnut liqueur and the brandy, and stir to combine. Why Salty Vixen Likes It:

The first words out of my mouth after I tasted this were, “Holy Nutella Hot Chocolate!” Of course, you probably don’t need much convincing that anything made with Nutella, a sweetened hazelnut and chocolate spread is going to be really good.

This simple stovetop recipe gets spiked with two kinds of booze: a hazelnut liqueur (usually Frangelico) and brandy. You could top it with whipped cream or marshmallows, but that’s really not necessary. I promise.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup whole milk
  2. 2 tablespoons Nutella
  3. 2 ounces hazelnut liqueur
  4. 1 ounce brandy
