When you receive a rejection letter , your heart skips a beat. Don't freak out!! Don't get mad, read the rejection email thoroughly.
When you receive a rejection email notice, please remember ,that one person reads these stories every single night. Sometimes human error happens due to the amount of stories we receive, we try our best to make sure everything is fair before we send a rejection. However, mistakes can happen. We usually list the reasons why your story was rejected, and usually it is fixable to resubmit to saltyvixenstories.com .
We automatically reject stories that underaged people . We do NOT accept child p*rn, it is wrong!!!! We do allow Taboo, up to a point as long as the age is 21 and over. Many sites do not allow hardcore taboo such as mind control, but the way we see it - it is writing art. Nothing more. So, please keep this in mind.

If you've been provided with links, read them. Often, links, from our 'writing resources' section of saltyvixenstories.com are included in the email to help edit your story.
a helpful tip: After writing the story, go to a quiet space, and read your story aloud - Things which may not be immediately obvious will become much much clearer, especially punctuation. - a Salty Vixen tidbit: When nobody is in the house, I sometimes 'act' out the scenes in the story - yes it might sound silly to you - I can assure you, it does work! How do you think Johnny Depp does so well in acting? Because he practices 24/7, savvy?
If your story was rejected for content issues, e.g breaks the guidelines, (we beg you, please do a quick check for grammar, punctuation and spelling before sending it into saltyvixenstories.com). Chances are, if the section of your story that breaks the rules from the start, the rest of your story may not have been read yet and might be returned to you for those issues afterwards.
Duplicated Stories, will be automatically rejected. if you are making a correction, please put in bold in the submission form that you are making a correction.
Can you resubmit the story? Yep! As long as you make the corrections, we point out (we try our best, please don't get upset with us!) !
What if I didn't hear back from you? Please understand, we are human and not machine.. therefore, we read through all the story submissions - and it can take up to a week. If you don't hear from us, please contact us.

Hello my lovelies! We have completed our review of the manuscript. We appreciate the time and creativity you have put into your manuscript; however, we have decided not to accept this submission for publication due to the following reasons (and we will list the reasons with links to our writing resources section) . Once you made the corrections, you can resubmit the story 🙂
