I always thought the news media was a message of information and a machine to transfer the woes of mankind, the operation of this country and the world to the American people via whatever was deemed the best method. To inform the masses.
The news media seem to be many people’s choice. If the media hadn’t exposed all the incidents, the government certainly wouldn’t but the people would look more closely at the media’s own reasons for pushing it out.
Richard Nixon was a well liked president with high approval ratings. The media virtually destroyed the man due to a small spying incident even though partly espionage is as old as politics. To this day, Nixon is still hounded about Watergate.
Ross Perot sicced multiple investigators on nearly every aspect of Bush’s life. Has Perot’s political life been destroyed due to his employment of spikes? No. Because to have a political life, you have to be a politician.
Gary Hart was forced to withdraw from the presidential race due to his infidelities. Was Clinton bumped off for his alleged long-term relationship with Gennifer Flowers? Nope.
Another example is Dan Quayle. Remember the potatoe/potato incident? During a spelling bee, Quayle read the word “potatoe” on a quest card and corrected a disrespectful child who spelled it “potato”
I also remember when mainstream media covered more on Clinton’s sax playing or Perot’s cigarette boats than Bush’s America 2,000 program to revitalize the education system, his plans on welfare and legal system, reform and his tough anti-crime bill. Oh those were the days!
Donald Trump- he was and still is on a witch hunt with mainstream media as well as social media. I am sick of it- regardless if you like Trump or not, when is enough going to be enough?
The national news media such CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, gossip rags, and social media conglomerates have become brainwashing machines. If you can’t see the liberal spin on the war and news in general by the news media, your brainwashing is complete.
If the news media of today would have reported on World War II, we would be a German Nazi-controlled nation. The media is no longer satisfied with reporting the news, they are intent on shaping our minds to their liberal agenda. The shame is that they are winning.
The first President George Bush was bashed by the news media’s shaping of the economy. Since this wouldn’t work a second time, they needed to shape the minds of the American people to see the war the way they wanted.
I wonder what the support of the war and President Bush would be if the news media would report instead of liberal spinning of each story? Think back to CNN’s reporting of the bombing of Baghdad during the Gulf War. CNN was an excellent tool for the enemy. Do you really think it has changed its reporting tactic?
During World War II, CNN’s reporting would have been considered as treason. You can’t win a war when the news media is intent on destroying a president.
Finally, Tucker Carlson “Parted Ways” with Fox News. Since he has left , mainstream media has began the attacks- especially when he made video on twitter and said the following,
“When you step away from the noise for a few days,” is how nice some people are, and how hilarious some are. The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are,” he said. “They're completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years we won't even remember we heard them. Trust me, as somebody who participated.”
While he didn't mention Fox, it was reminiscent of the monologues he delivered on the network for the last six years, talking about “the people in charge” hurting the country. Debates on big topics like war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change and corporate power are not permitted by corporate media or political parties, he said.
“Where can you still find Americans saying true things?” he said. “There aren't many places left but there are some and that's enough. As long as you can hear the words, there is hope. See you soon.”
Tucker said what most of us with common have said or thought about many times. The media are indeed brainwashing us to our destruction as a society. If reasonable people cannot stop media brainwashing, at least they can keep themselves from being brainwashed.
