Robert J. Cooper introduced St-Germain—the sweet, elderflower liqueur—in 2007 and it quickly became known as “bartender’s ketchup,” because it was so widely used and loved. This cocktail, the Gin Blossom, is a super-simple drink that highlights the flavor of St. Germain without being too sweet.

NOTE: I use Hendrick’s Gin for this because of its floral notes, but any quality gin will do. here is the cocktail recipe, print the recipe card below.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 ounces Hendrick’s Gin
  2. 1 ounce St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  3. 1 dash Angostura Bitters

How to Make It:

Add the gin, St-Germain and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a coupe glass.
